What is FigRay

A scientific figure studio for researchers who need clear visuals faster.

The Short Version

FigRay is an AI-powered workspace for making scientific figures. It is designed for researchers, students, labs, and scientific teams who need to explain a method, mechanism, pathway, protocol, or result clearly without spending hours rebuilding every visual from scratch.

FigRay has two core modules:

Image Generation

Create and refine scientific figures from prompts, sketches, reference images, and follow-up instructions.

Vectorization

Turn a nearly finished image into an editable asset for cleanup, export, and handoff.

Why Researchers Use It

NeedHow FigRay helps
Move from idea to draftTurns a paragraph, paper summary, protocol, or rough sketch into a visual starting point.
Keep scientific intent visibleUses labels, staged layouts, arrows, panels, and references to keep the concept clear.
Fix details after generationCorrects labels, redraws selected areas, cleans visual clutter, and improves readability.
Prepare usable outputsExports assets for manuscripts, slides, posters, grants, and lab documentation.

What It Is Not

FigRay should not replace data-driven plotting tools when exact numerical values matter. Use it for explanatory visuals, schematics, graphical abstracts, diagrams, and figure polishing.
